Background

I am a turfgrass scientist that builds software and data products. I'm currently at a lawn and garden startup called Sunday, where I focus on helping customers take better care of their yards. My role involves translating subject-matter expertise to design and build AI-powered experiences.

I also serve as CTO of PACE Turf, where I lead the technology for the platform.

Through Pacific Turfgrass Labs, I take on select consulting and advisory projects.

Previously, I led turfgrass extension programs at the University of Minnesota and University of California. And way back before that, I did my BS and MS in applied plant science at the University of Minnesota.
